Arimbi Shita Pramesty

About Arimbi:

I graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia, with a major in Environmental Engineering. Since then, I have worked as an environmental consultant and in the finance industry. In 2020, I received a scholarship from the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) to pursue higher education related to urban and regional planning in the US. I am interested in community economic development and international development planning. After completing my MA degree, I hope to pursue a career with national or international development agencies or non-governmental organizations.

I've been working to better understand the waste flows, reuse and recycling of concrete and asphalt in New York State -- these materials are the largest components of construction and demolition debris in New York.
