From 2015 to 2019, Rod was Executive Director of The History Center in Tompkins County and helped create the Tompkins Center for History and Culture. Before that he was Assistant Director for Community and Economic Vitality with Cornell Cooperative Extension and Executive Director of Cornell’s Community and Regional Development Institute (CaRDI).
At the Christopherson Center
Rod's 25-year Cornell career provided him with a number of opportunities to work with Susan Christopherson on community and economic development-related initiatives. "I'm fortunate to have known her personally as well as professionally and was in awe of her commitment to New York State communities. It is an honor to be on the board of this organization that honors her work and legacy."
