About Taryn:
Taryn is a senior at Cornell University studying Environment and Sustainability with a concentration in policy. She is pursuing minors in Urban Studies, Law, Sustainable Business, and Gender Studies. Growing up in New York City, she was introduced to urban studies through food systems, but attending Cornell has expanded her understanding of what urban development can encompass. She is particularly interested in accessibility and safety in public spaces, as well as how the built environment can shape cognitive and emotional experiences.
At the Christopherson Center:
Taryn is excited to be working with the Christopherson Center on the CROWD project and hopes to contribute meaningfully to the Ithaca community, which has been her home for the past four years.
