About Yoobin:
Yoobin is a third-year student at Cornell University from the DC Metropolitan area, studying Information Science and Urban and Regional Studies. Her passion for urban planning began with a dream of building more equitable communities in the developing world. Over time, she found joy in focusing on the communities closest to her, channeling her efforts into creating positive local impact.
Since high school, Yoobin has been actively involved in community service, collaborating with local nonprofits and using her graphic design skills to support their missions. More recently, she has developed a growing interest in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and is excited to combine design and GIS to address social issues-particularly in her new home of Upstate New York.
