Shaniya Foster

About Shaniya:

I have been involved for a long time in local efforts to promote healthy, sustainable, racially just communities. I am a member of the Solidarity Slate party, as well as an active volunteer with Ithaca Families Gift Economy and Mutual Aid Tompkins. I also served as a transit ambassador with Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit (TCAT).

At the Christopherson Center:

I worked as the Christopherson Center's outreach coordinator for Racially Equitable Green Workforce Development in Tompkins County, which included development of survey questions and outreach to BIPOC community leaders.
