About Lindsay
Lindsay Woodson is an urban planner and strategist with over a decade of experience translating technical concepts across stakeholders and designing solutions across scales. Focused on climate resilience and environmental justice communities, she has worked on projects addressing air pollution, extreme heat, cloudbursts, sea level rise and coastal flooding, and seismic risk.
Drawing on her background in architecture and her credentials as a certified planner, Lindsay leads inclusive in-person and virtual engagement processes—including visioning sessions, workshops, charrettes, community events, interviews, and surveys. She brings a collaborative approach that fosters open communication, informed decision-making, and clear paths to action.
She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University and a dual-degree Master’s in Urban Planning and Climate Risk & Resilience from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
At the Christopherson Center
She is thrilled for the opportunity to work with the Christopherson Center on initiatives to make upstate New York more equitable and resilient. Lindsay is particularly eager to work with youth to further expand planning and design pipelines into the profession. With all of the amazing mentors throughout her academic journey, she strives to pay it forward.
